The Elmsdale Elevator was built in 1978 and is constructed of concrete. It has 23 different bins ranging in size from 12 to 200 tonnes with a total capacity of 7000 tonnes. The Elevator has a Mathews grain dryer that will dry up to 25 tonnes per hour. It also has a 50-foot truck scale that will weigh up to 60 metric tonnes per hour pre-cleaner which cleans the grain before it is stored in the bins. There is also a dust collection system in the Elevator that collects dust off the grain as it is stored in the bins. The Elevator has a staff of four, two full-time and two seasonal workers.
